Nurse Practitioners

Responsibilities are first point of contact for triage (pre-treatment assessment) of minor injuries and illnesses also running clinics for minor injuries and ailments, treatment of minor injury procedures, prescribing and self-help advice.


We employ a practice nurse who carries out many routine consultations with patients (e.g. cervical smears, blood pressure checks, asthma, diabetes and healthy heart checks, travel immunisations, HRT, contraception checks, etc.)

Please do not attend the practice nurse for acute problems.

Healthcare Assistants

We have HCAs working in the practice. Their main duties are taking bloods, doing ECGs, spirometry, BP checks, New Patient checks, BMI.
